<p>Mandya: A 72-year-old farmer died when he was trying to prevent a forest fire from spreading to his agricultural land on the forest fringe at Ragimuddanahalli of Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district on Friday. </p>.<p>Madegowda is the deceased. His body was handed over to his relatives after an autopsy at Pandavapura subdivision hospital.
