<p>Bengaluru: The BJP, which faced a setback with Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot approving the Greater Bengaluru Governance Bill despite protests, will legally fight the new law, Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka said on Friday. </p>.<p>“We had asked the Governor not to approve the Bill as it violated the 74th Amendment. We will fight the law legally,” Ashoka said. </p>.Govt to finalise new Bengaluru corporations, boundaries in four months.<p>Ashoka said the Governor had given his assent to the Bill as per procedure. “The Governor’s office isn’t the BJP’s office as Congress claims. If he signs a Bill, it’s fine. When he doesn’t sign a Bill, it becomes the BJP’s office. This is the Congress’ conspiracy,” he said.</p>
