<p>Hassan: Following an email threat to bomb the Vidya Soudha Group of Educational Institutions in Bengaluru on Monday, the group’s three institutions in the city were placed on high alert and inspected as a precautionary measure.</p><p>According to the police, the institution received a threatening email on Sunday morning. Thus, the bomb detection and defusal squad, along with sniffer dogs, were pressed into service. The school principal lodged a complaint with the Hassan city and Rural police stations on Sunday.</p><p>Acting swiftly, the police and bomb disposal squad personnel inspected the school on Sunday late at night. No explosive materials have been found so far. The police are taking all steps to trace the source of the e-mail.</p>
