<p>The CBI special court on Friday granted permission to the Karwar MLA Satish Sail for three days to visit his ailing father. Sail is in judicial custody following his arrest in the Belekeri port iron ore export scam.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Sail had appealed to the court to grant him permission to visit his father. He stated that his father was unwell and his health had been deteriorating. The court granted him permission, after scrutinising the doctor's reports which stated that his father is suffering from cancer and was in a bad condition. <br /><br />Judge B Shreeshananda agreed to permit the MLA to visit his father after setting certain conditions. Four CBI officers will accompany him and all of them should travel in single vehicle after providing the details of the vehicle to the jail authorities. He will have to pay for the fuel and other charges. The conditions laid down also includes that he be present in jail on October 15 and confirm his presence in jail through video conference which will be conducted that morning. He will be allowed to visit his house and his father's house but cannot cross the border of the state. <br /><br />Kudligi MLA B Nagendra, arrested in the same case, who was in the CBI custody till Friday was remanded in judicial custody till October 24 by the court.</p>
