<p class="title">Kadengodlu Kavya Prashasti of Govinda Pai Samshodhana Kendra and MAHE, Manipal, will be presented to poet Girish Jakapure of Maindargi, Solapur district, Maharashtra.</p>.<p class="bodytext">An expert committee has chosen Jakapure's unpublished collection of poems called ‘Allamana Gazalgalu’ for the award.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A teacher and research scholar, Jakapure has written more than 20 books in different genres of Kannada literature. The award will be presented to him at a programme being planned in August.</p>
