Karnataka Assembly passes 3 bills

Bengaluru: The Assembly passed the two Karnataka Appropriation Bills for 2025-26 and 2026-27. Both were tabled by CM Siddaramaiah. As per Karnataka Appropriation Bill, 2026, Rs 4,67,249 crore will be defrayed towards several charges which will come in the course of payment for 29 services during 2026-27.

As per Karnataka Appropriation (No 2) Bill, 2026, Rs 14,767.89 crore will be defrayed towards several charges. The House also passed the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Bill, 2026. The Act amends the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957.
