<p>New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V Somanna met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Tuesday and requested him to approve long pending proposal of Tumakuru-Chitradurga-Davangere railway line. </p><p>Though the proposal of railway line was cleared by the Railway Board, it is pending in Ministry of Home Affairs for the approval. </p>.Tumakuru-Chitradurga-Davangere rail delayed.<p>"Somanna said he has requested the Union Minister to grant early approval so that work could be completed at the earliest. Shah responded positively," he said. </p><p>However, he clarified that no political issue was discussed in the meeting. </p>
