IT seminar for real estate sector in Mysuru on June 8

Mysuru: A seminar and interaction on ‘Income Tax and Tax Compliance for the Real Estate Sector’ has been organised at 5 pm on June 8, Monday, at Mysore Builders' Charitable Trust (MBCT) Auditorium, on Akkamahadevi Road, 2nd Stage, Industrial Suburb, Vishweshwara Nagara, Mysuru.

According to a press note from secretary of Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) Mysuru secretary Nagaraj V Bairy, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax Kalpalata Rajan and Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax S Venkatesan will conduct the seminar, to explain the New Income Tax Act, 2025.

The seminar is being organised by the Mysuru Centre of Builders Association of India (BAI) and CREDAI, in association with the Union Income Tax Department, at the MBCT Hall, jointly managed by the MBCT and the BAI.

Bairy said the session aims to provide comprehensive insights into key assessment-related provisions, practical implications and the complex compliance aspects affecting the real estate sector, under the new updated tax framework.

Chairman of BAI, Mysuru, Prabhakar Rao said, members of BAI, CREDAI, NAREDCO, auditors, chartered accountants, civil engineers, contractors architects, valuers, and advocates can attend the session. CREDAI Mysuru president Harish Shenoy, and BAI Mysuru secretary Praveen Pai will be present.
