No shortage of petroleum products in Mysuru district: Dealers

Mysuru: Members of Federation of Mysore Petroleum Traders informed that petroleum products such as petrol and diesel are readily available across Mysuru district. There is no shortage of supply, and the situation remains stable and well-supported.

Addressing a press meet in Mysuru on Friday, President of Federation, Shashikala Nagaraj said, "We are receiving ample and continuous support from the Government of India, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. All Oil Marketing Companies are ensuring uninterrupted supply to all retail outlets. Our dealer fraternity is committed and working relentlessly to ensure smooth availability of fuel for the convenience of all citizens. We assure the public that all necessary measures are being taken to maintain consistent supply."

She appealed to people not to indulge in panic buying or unnecessary stocking of fuel and not to hoard petroleum products, as hoarding is illegal. Also storing fuel in unsafe containers poses a serious fire and safety hazard to individuals, families, and the community, Shashikala said.

Shashikala urged people to remain calm and sought necessary cooperation and she reiterated that there was no cause for concern, as supplies are normal and continuous.
