<p>Mysuru: South Western Railway, <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/mysuru">Mysuru</a> Division, has achieved several milestones across passenger, freight, and non-fare revenue segments, during the financial year 2025–26.</p><p>The division registered its highest-ever passenger revenue of Rs 449.13 crore, surpassing the previous record of Rs 419.89 crore, last year. The earnings through ticket checking also reached an all-time high of Rs 9.75 crore, exceeding both the previous best and the annual target.</p><p>The division achieved record earnings in commercial publicity (Rs 3.17 crore), parking (Rs 4.02 crore), and catering (Rs 2.61 crore), all surpassing previous financial year figures.</p><p>The division also recorded its second-highest freight revenue of Rs 900.19 crore. <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/automobile">Automobile</a> loading reached a historic high with 116 rakes, generating Rs 23.94 crore. The division achieved the second-highest iron ore loading of 8.665 million tonnes.</p>.Top South Western Railways official inspects railway projects in Bengaluru.<p>The revenue through parcel earnings was Rs 11.81 crore, while highest-ever earnings from SLR (Seating cum Luggage Rake) and VPH (High Capacity Parcel Van) leasing stood at Rs 5.85 crore.</p><p>The Non-Rail Head Passenger rail service facility at Kuvempu Nagar, Mysuru, became the first in Indian Railways to operate Advanced Passenger Operating System (APOS) PRS via static IP, enabling seamless digital and cashless ticket booking.</p><p>Safety and vigilance measures were intensified, and no inflammable or prohibited items detected. Special joint drives against illegal activities also reported zero cases, according to a press release from Girish Dharmaraja Kalgonda, Divisional Commercial Manager and Public Relations Officer. </p>
