No question of CM Siddaramaiah stepping down: Mahadevappa

Bengaluru: Social Welfare Minister H C Mahadevappa on Thursday ruled out Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's exit and said there was nothing "debatable" right now  on the issue of leadership. 

"For now, nothing is debatable," Mahadevappa told reporters. Asked about a power-sharing agreement between Siddaramaiah and his deputy D K Shivakumar, he said: "There's no such discussion. Everything is left to the high command." 

On speculation that Siddaramaiah will have to step aside, Mahadevappa said: "That question doesn't arise." Mahadevappa pointed out that Siddaramaiah had agreed to go by whatever the high command would decide.
