<p>Ballari: Koppal MLA Raghavendra Hitnal was on Friday unanimously elected as president of Raichur, Ballari, Koppal, and Vijayanagara (RABKOVI) Milk Producer Unions' Federation.</p><p>N Satyanarayana from Koppal was elected as vice-president.</p><p>Former MLA and Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) former president Bhima Naik, who aspired to become the president of the federation, stayed out of the contest due to a lack of support.</p><p><strong>‘I have shown my strength’</strong></p><p>Speaking to the media after the election, Raghavendra Hitnal said, “The former president had challenged whether I had the strength to enter the federation. I accepted that challenge and have shown my strength. I will ensure that Ballari gets proper representation in the union. I will establish the mega dairy in Ballari itself,” he stated.</p><p>When asked whether he would get representation (delegation) for KMF director’s post and contest for the president’s election, he replied that it is left to the party leadership to decide on it.</p><p><strong>Naik still aspires for KMF post</strong></p><p>“I am not aware if D K Suresh is contesting for the KMF president’s post, but I still aspire to that position. The party leadership will decide in this regard,” said former KMF president Bhima Naik.</p><p>However, Raghavendra Hitnal denied the decision to give a KMF delegation to Bhima Naik. He clarified that the governing board will take a final decision in this regard.</p>
