<p>Bengaluru: Rajya Sabha BJP member Lahar Singh Siroya dubbed Congress leader B K Hariprasad's comments on the Supreme Court following its remarks against Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi as "unfortunate and dangerous".</p>.<p>He said loyalty to Congress dynasty was understandable, “but loyalty to country must come first.”</p>.<p>In a statement, Siroya referred to Hariprasad’s post on X, where the Congress MLC accused the Supreme Court of supporting "dictatorial attitudes" and undermining Gandhi, whom he called a "shadow prime minister".</p>.<p>Hariprasad also alleged that the apex court and some high courts were making politically inspired observations.</p>.Pollution boards can impose environmental damages, says Supreme Court.<p>Siroya said it was shocking to see such strong remarks from a senior politician. "I always thought Hariprasad was mature. I did not expect him to question judiciary’s integrity,” he said.</p>.<p>"Rahul is not above law. His actions must reflect maturity and decorum expected of a constitutional figure," he said. </p>.<p>Siroya said, "It’s been 50 years since the Emergency, but the mindset remains.”</p>
