<p>The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT), 2016 for admission into150 Karnataka-based B-schools is set to go national for the first time. The test will be held in 10 cities across India this year.<br /><br /></p>.<p>KMAT will be conducted on May 29 in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Lucknow, New Delhi, Noida, Patna and Pune. The registration for the test is open from April 5 till May 10.<br /><br />KMAT 2016 scores will be accepted by more than 150 AICTE-approved and UGC-affiliated institutes offering MBA, PGDM and MCA programmes in 2016 in Bengaluru and the rest of Karnataka.<br /><br /> Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), an association of various management colleges, conducts KMAT. The attempt to project KMAT is a national-level test is aimed at attracting students from all across the country and even abroad, said a press release from the association.<br /><br />This comes especially at a time when hundreds of management seats are falling vacant since a few years. The exam will be a conventional paper-pencil-based exam consisting of 120 multiple choice questions, divided into 4 sections.<br /><br />The registration could be done online as well as offline. Candidates can register on official KMAT website www.kmatindia.com.</p>
