Resume beneficiary-oriented progs, Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh tells departments

Bengaluru: Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh has asked all departments to resume the implementation of various beneficiary-oriented programmes, following clearance from the Election Commission of India (ECI).

A screening committee, headed by her, had recommended the resumption of government programmes after April 9, following the conclusion of voting in Davangere South and Bagalkot seats where bypolls were held. On April 11, the ECI conveyed its ‘no objection’.
