Several shops gutted in major fire in Karnataka's Saidapur

Saidapur (Yadgir district): At least 10 shops of a 15-stall commercial complex were destroyed in an accidental fire triggered by an electric short circuit, at Jagjivan Ram Circle in Saidapur town of Yadgir district on Sunday.

Goods and furniture worth several lakhs were gutted. Fire and Emergency Service personnel battled for over two hours to douse the fire. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
