Sharan Prakash Patil dismisses 'change in CM & Cabinet rejig' calls it 'media creation'

Ballari: Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil on Wednesday dismissed media speculation about change in chief minister and Cabinet rejig terming it a ‘media creation’.

“There is no Cabinet reshuffle or rejig for now. Even the chief minister has clarified... It’s all created by the media. We did not discuss  politics at the dinner meeting called by Siddaramaiah, he told reporters here when asked about the talks of leadership change and Cabinet reshuffle.

“Priyank Kharge has never said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) should be banned. All he said was the activities of the RSS should be banned on government land. The chief minister has sent
Priyank’s letter to the chief secretary to examine it,” Patil said.

“Additional security will be provided to Priyank, if need be, in the wake of threat to his life. Our government is capable of solving this issue,” the minister said.
