Accordingly, an escort party and guards in plain clothes were deployed on duty.<br /><br />This time, the leader himself insisted on not informing the local police, said Manjula, sister-in-law of Sudarshan.<br /><br />Moreover, with Sudarshan enjoying ‘Z’ security cover, the leader should have informed the State police about his visit, said another source.<br /><br />Now, the leader wishes or not, police are duty bound and a platoon of City Armed Reserve (CAR) police force, armed men and also plain clothes police have been deputed on duty round the clock. <br /><br />Native of Mandya<br /><br />A native of Kuppalli in K R Pet taluk in the neighbouring Mandya district, Sudarshan’s father Seetharamaiah was in the railways. Seetharamaiah was transferred to Madhya Pradesh. It was during the family’s stay in that State, Sudarshan came under the influence of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) and the rest is history. Sudarshan’s younger brother Ramesh is settled in Mysore for the past one year. Ramesh was an engineering manager at Siemens in USA for 30 years. Eight years ago, Ramesh and Manjula couple returned to India and stayed in Bangalore for seven years.<br /><br />Third visit<br /><br />Two years ago, the grihapravesham of the house at No 7 in Century Park, named after Sudarshan was performed. Sudarshan had participated in the ceremony at that time and had also visited the house for the second time a year ago. It was his third visit, that triggered tensed moments with his disappearance during his morning stroll. He was regularly going on a morning stroll within the precincts of the layout. This time he wandered out and the security guard at the main gate of the layout, didn’t know that the man was a VVIP. Sudarshan who didn’t know either the locality or the city, found himself lost.<br /><br />Visits RSS office<br /><br />Sudarshan and his brother submitted a requisition to the police later, requesting the authorities to close the case.<br /><br />As is the routine, Sudarshan visited Madhav Kripa, RSS headquarters on JLB road in the city in the evening and returned. On Thursday evening he had been to Chamarajanagar and also to Chamundi Hill. Yet, local police had no inkling of the VVIP in the neighbourhood. Moreover, Madhya Pradesh police had not informed their Karnataka counterparts. He may be leaving the city for Bhopal on Saturday (August 4).<br /><br />Ate Mysore Pak<br /><br />Sudarshan ate a piece of Mysore Pak, and had a glass of water before taking rest soon after returning home. A team led by Dr Shetty Shivakumar, HoD of medicine, MMC and RI, consisting of Dr M M Basavaraj and Dr S S Ramesh examined Sudarshan. Earlier, the police had summoned a doctor from Shantaveri Gopalgowda Hospital. According to doctors, the RSS leader is healthy.<br /><br />‘Vivekananda was lost in Chicago’<br /><br />Before he went missing and was found, Sudarshan had discussed with his brother Ramesh of the incident of Swami Vivekananda in Chicago. Swami on his way to attend International Religious Meet had lost his belongings in train and with nowhere to go, finds himself in the shelter of a stranger. When he asks a man to write about self (Swami), the man who was by then smittened by the wisdom of the man in ochre, says- he needs no recommendation. What forced Sudarshan to recall the story was, he had forgotten to collect one of his luggages after reaching Mysore from Bangalore by train.<br /> <br />Ramesh who recalled his chat with his brother on the eve of his brother went missing, while speaking to police commissioner, said- incidentally, he (Sudarshan) went missing. <br /><br />Ramesh’s wife Manjula owed it all to god almighty and her belief in the god. By the time she finished her puja, Sudarshan was back home, said uber happy Manjula to the media.<br /><br />No cell in hand<br /><br />“He neither carries cellphone, identity card or money”, this was how a relative told Deccan Herald, explaining about what could hinder the police from reaching Sudarshan when he went missing. <br /><br />He was wearing a white dhoti and shirt, and covered by sweater, the only features that could come in handy in reaching him. When he was brought back home, in the car of police commissioner he was welcomed by his sister Vatsala Murthy and sister-in-law Manjula who performed traditional arati.</p>
