He flayed the poor quality of work on track undertaken by the Land Army Corporation in outdoor stadium of the district. <br /><br />The government has been releasing more funds for the promotion of sports in the district. In spite of the availability of the funds, the quality is not being maintained.<br /><br />“Though it is compulsory to hand over the development works to Land Army Corporation and Nirmithi Kendra, we can not given concession for poor quality of works. <br /><br />The situation has arisen where we have to search for Land Army Corporation officials,” he added. <br /><br />Foundation stone has been laid for the setting up of hostel at an estimated cost of Rs one crore near St Joseph convent. “The government will also release funds for the Morarji Desai PU College building soon. There is no shortage of funds in the district. There is a need to utilise it effectively,” he added. <br /></p>
