At one point of time the stars even climbed BMTC buses to raise funds from passengers. The bus drivers and conductors too obliged the stars. <br /><br />Public thrilled<br />“I wish I had brought my camera cellphone today. I could have at least taken some pictures,” regretted the bus driver. An amused aged lady in the bus too contributed her might. Later, when she was told that Rajkumar's son Shivarajkumar had spoken to her, she was thrilled.<br /><br />“It was an overwhelming experience. More than the amount we raised, the fact that everyone came together for a cause is worth noting,” KFCC president Dr Jayamala told Deccan Herald.<br /><br />Artistes Sudarshan, Doddanna, Ambarish, Devaraj, Darshan, Puneet Rajkumar, Vijay, Sadhu Kokila, Prajwal Devaraj, Adarsh, Ajay Rao, Jayanti, Leelavati, Hema Chaudhary, Sudharani, Anu Prabhakar and Tara, producers Rockline Venkatesh, Sa Ra Govind, directors S V Rajendra Singh Babu and others participated in the padayatra.<br /><br />Precautionary measures<br />The police had taken precautionary measures, deploying their men around Forum Mall and other areas.
