Vijayendra will never be chief minister, says Basanagouda Patil Yatnal

Bagalkot: Karnataka BJP president B Y Vijayendra will never become the chief minister of Karnataka said expelled saffron party MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal. He was speaking to reporters in the city on Monday.

Accusing the father-son duo of former chief minister B S Yediyurappa and Vijayendra of putting on an act, Yatnal said, "They were the ones responsible for the BJP’s loss in the Davanagere, Kalaburagi, Bidar and other Lok Sabha constituencies".

Questioning Vijayendra’s refusal for permission for the padayatra that he had planned to take out to protest the scam in the Maharishi Valmiki Corporation, Yatnal added, "The minute Vijayendra starts questioning the Congress government on floor of the House, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar threatens to take out the former's 'file', and the Karnataka BJP president goes silent immediately. The BJP has been unsuccessful in informing the public about the many failures of the Congress government".
