VTU announces engineering results in 10 minutes after completion of exams

Bengaluru: The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has created a history by breaking its own record by announcing results of the final semester of engineering examinations in just 10 minutes after the exams were concluded.

A total of 56,192 students appeared for the B E and B Tech final semester exams. The exam ended at 5:30 pm on Friday, and by 5:40 pm, the results were announced with the students achieving a pass percentage of 99.98.

Earlier, in 2025, the varsity created a record by announcing results within one hour of the completion of the exams. As shared by the university authorities, the results were directly sent to students’ mobile numbers soon after they were announced.

VTU Vice-Chancellor S Vidyashankar said, “VTU has always been at the forefront of adopting technology. This result itself is proof that the VTU is student-friendly. Announcing results within 10 minutes after the completion of the exams is not an easy task. I congratulate the administrative staff, exam section staff, and affiliated college staff who made this possible. Final-year students eagerly wait for results for the purpose of jobs and higher education. So, we ensured a quick announcement.” Registrar (Evaluation) U J Ujwal added, “We adopted a digital evaluation of answer scripts and prepared in advance to announce results quickly. This was possible with the support of every staff member.”
