<p>Mysuru: MLC A H Vishwanath asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, “What is your contribution to Mysuru that you are organising the ‘Sadhana (achievement) Samavesha’ here?”</p><p>He was speaking to media persons, in the wake of the Sadhana (achievement) Samavesha, being held on the Maharaja’s College Grounds, in Mysuru, the hometown of the CM, on July 19, Saturday. “Siddaramaiah holds such conventions whenever his position is in trouble,” he added.</p> .<p>Vishwanath asked, “What have you given to Mysuru, that you are holding this convention? What is your contribution for the development of tourism in Mysuru? I heard that each MLA in Mysuru district is given huge amounts, to gather people for the convention”.</p><p>“Siddaramaiah knows that he would be displaced. That is why he is giving his party leader Rahul Gandhi the title of ‘Nyaya Yodha’ (Warrior of Justice) to just flatter Gandhi,” he said.</p> .<p><strong>Ahinda champion?</strong></p><p>Vishwanath said Siddaramaiah claims that he is a champion of the Ahinda communities. “But, Ahinda was not built by Siddaramaiah. He self-declared that he is the saviour of Ahinda communities. Siddaramaiah and his gang have hijacked the Ahinda organisation built by someone else. The real leader of the backward classes is only the late CM D Devaraja Urs,” he said.</p><p>Ahinda is an acronym for Alpasankyatha (minorities), Hindulida (backward) and Dalit (Scheduled Castes), coined by Siddaramaiah in 2005.</p><p>“Siddaramaiah doesn't even know the names of the backward classes. He just talks nonsense about backward classes. Siddaramaiah condemns the BJP as a casteist party, but he should introspect on what he himself is doing to eradicate casteism. Is he at least helping his own Kuruba (shepherd) community people?” Vishwanath asked.</p><p>“In North Karnataka region, daughters of shepherds are being raped and harassed. Sheep are being shot and taken away. Can't the CM see this? Siddaramaiah should do a course correction, before the people, who supported him, revolt against him,” Vishwanath said.</p>
