'Wondering whether Gowda came to campaign for BJP or to analyse suitcases of our leaders': D K Shivakumar

Davangere: Reacting to BJP leader's charge that Congress leaders have come here with sacks of money, KPCC President D K Shivakumar asked, "Why has not BJP leader Sadananda Gowda filed a complaint yet?"

He was responding to media's query on Thursday. He said, "I just wonder whether Gowda has come here to campaign for BJP candidate or to analyse how thick and big suitcases of our leaders are."

When asked about Sadananda Gowda's claim that the party would get over 45 per cent minority votes, this time, he said, "Very happy, let him call everyone. Let him ask over 2.30 lakh voters to cast vote for BJP."

When asked about a rumour that a call from the office of Samarth received, saying that if the BJP wins, the guarantee scheme will be stopped, he said, "they spread false news during elections, all this is normal."
