<div>State BJP president B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday set up a five-member disciplinary committee in the wake of a section of leaders raising a banner of revolt against him. The committee is headed by former party MLC N Shankarappa. <br /><br />The committee comprises former minister C M Udasi, MLAs B N Vijaykumar and Sha shikala Jolle and MP P C Mohan as the members.<br /><br />Interestingly, a majority of these members are said to be close to Yeddyurappa. The panel has been set up a day after Yeddyurappa warned the disgruntled leaders of stern action. <br /><br />A section of party leaders, including opposition leader in the Legislative Council K S Eshwarappa, have taken objection to the appointment of new state office bearers and district presidents by Yeddyurappa. They had been complaining that Yeddyurappa has appointed only those who are loyal to him.<br /><br />Eshwarappa, who skipped the special meeting of the newly appointed office-bearers convened by Yeddyurappa on Saturday, has reportedly lodged a complaint against the state president with the senior party leaders in Delhi on Sunday.<br /><br />However, Yeddyurappa refused to comment on the complaint lodged by Eshwarappa against him. <br /><br />“I don’t want to talk about it in public. The party has formed a disciplinary committee and it will look into the issue,” he told reporters on seeking his reaction to Eshwarappa’s Delhi visit.<br /></div>
