Though a section in the party suggested Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, party sources said that she might be fielded in Tamil Nadu. BJP senior leader and former Mizoram governor Kummanam Rajasekharan was also being considered.</p>.<p>Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is likely to contest for the fourth consecutive time from Thiruvananthapuram, while CPI's senior leader and former MP Panniyan Raveendran is left-front candidate.</p>
