<p>New Delhi: Amid concerns over LPG supply disruptions due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia,<a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/india/karnataka/indianoil-scales-up-auto-lpg-supplies-across-karnataka-amidst-surge-in-demand-3954291"> Indian Oil Corporation</a> (IOC), India’s largest oil company, on Friday assured that LPG supply across the country remains stable and fully adequate.</p><p>The company urged customers not to indulge in panic booking or hoarding, emphasising that there is no shortage of LPG. It also advised consumers to rely only on official communication channels for accurate information.</p><p>IOC stated that it is delivering around 28 lakh LPG cylinders daily, in line with normal levels prior to the current tensions, ensuring uninterrupted supply to households.</p><p>Nearly 87 per cent of refill bookings are being made through digital platforms, while deliveries are authenticated through OTP-based systems to ensure cylinders reach the intended customers.</p>.Centre reviews LPG supply, dual-fuel autos to use petrol amid shortage.<p>India’s LPG supply remains stable, adequate, and under close monitoring, despite ongoing geopolitical developments impacting global energy markets. Deliveries are being carried out with Delivery Authentication Codes (DAC OTP) to ensure cylinders are received by the intended customers, the statement said.</p><p>"Action has been taken against 141 LPG distributors, including suspension of 5 distributors for malpractices," the company said.</p>
