<p>Mumbai: Amid concerns of safety after the Pahalgam meadows terrorists massacre, the Maharashtra government has decided to bring back the tourists from Jammu & Kashmir.</p><p>The first special flight would be operated on Thursday.</p><p>Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reviewed the situation in Mumbai. </p><p>Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and state Disaster Management Minister Girish Mahajan would camp in Srinagar to oversee the operations. </p>.Filmmaker Pravin Tarde mourns childhood friend killed in Pahalgam attack: 'Forgive us, we can’t do anything'.<p>“On the orders and instructions of CM Devendra Fadnavis, a special flight is arranged to bring the Maharashtra tourists back to Mumbai from Srinagar. This IndiGo aircraft will bring back 83 tourists to Mumbai on Thursday, officials in the Chief Minister’s Office said. </p><p>The CMO has already made the passenger list for the first special flight - so that there is no confusion. </p><p>“Efforts are underway to arrange one more special flight too on Thursday itself and preparation of passenger lists for the same is underway,” the CMO said. </p><p>Fadnavis is regularly in touch with Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, which provides complete support for the evacuation.</p><p>All expenses for this special flight will be borne by the State government, the CMO officials said. </p><p>“Several thousands tourists are in J&K. It is our duty to ensure that they reach home safely,” Mahajan said after landing at the Srinagar airport. </p>
