Man slams four-year-old boy to ground, smashes head over dispute with his father in Maharashtra's Vasai

The boy was rushed to a hospital in Mira Road, where he is undergoing treatment in the ICU.

In a horrifying incident that took place owing to a fight over a minor issue, a man tossed a four-year-old boy to the ground and smashed his head on an iron road in Maharashtra's Vasai.

The incident was captured in a CCTV camera, where the accused, Sandeep Pawar, was seen having a fight with the boy's father, after which he walked up to the boy, Vignesh, who was sitting in an autorickshaw parked in a housing society and playing with other children. He pulled him out of the autorickshaw by holding his legs, tossed him in the air and ran inside the building. But the brutality did not stop there. He then smashed his head on an iron rod and threw him on the ground again.

The boy was rushed to a hospital in Mira Road locality, where he is undergoing treatment in the ICU. His condition is said to be critical.

The accused was subsequently arrested. A case has been filed against him.
