<p>Mumbai: At a time when the BJP’s MahaYuti-NDA partners Shiv Sena and NCP are not on the same page on many issues, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ comments that both Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar are “not communicative” have sparked off a political issue in Maharashtra. </p><p>Shinde and Pawar, who are the two Deputy CMs, however, have not commented on the issue so far. </p><p>The comments, though in a lighter vein, came during an interaction with a media group in Mumbai on Wednesday. </p><p>When asked who among his two deputies is better in communication, Fadnavis said: “Let me take you frankly…they should forgive me…both are not communicative.”</p>.Rain-related incidents claim 16 lives in Maharashtra since May 24: Govt.<p>The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi has hit out at Fadnavis. </p><p>“There is no communication within the government itself. The government is running without any dialogue. There’s no communication, only selfishness among all three. That’s what is clearly visible,” Congress Legislature Party leader Vijay Wadettiwar. </p><p>Pawar’s close aide and NCP MLC Amol Mitkari, however, expressed resentment at the CM’s statement.</p><p>“While you (Fadnavis) are a good captain of the state. Ajit Dada and Shinde Saheb are the main pillars in the team. They have good communication with the public as well as the government. Instead of creating confusion by making such public statements, the state expects good communication within the four walls,” Mitkari said. </p><p>The development comes days after the visit of BJP's chief strategist and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Mumbai, during which he held informal meetings with the troika of Fadnavis-Shinde-Pawar during which the path to local bodies elections was discussed. </p>
