<p>Mumbai: Slamming Prime Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/narendra-modi">Narendra Modi</a>’s mission to send seven all-party delegations to various countries to convey India's message of zero-tolerance against terrorism and the ongoing Operation Sindoor, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/sanjay-raut">Sanjay Raut </a>said that that it would yield nothing but for travel and tourism.</p><p>Raut accused the BJP of “internationalising” the Kashmir issue, instead of calling for a special session of the Parliament to discuss the issue and a government-led visit of all-party delegation to Jammu & Kashmir.</p><p>"This is turning into a tourism and travel programme. In the name of Operation Sindoor and terrorism, they’ve basically opened a tours and travel company. There is no need for this right now,” he said.</p><p>Raut, a Rajya Sabha member, is a close aide of Shiv Sena (UBT) supremo Uddhav Thackeray.</p>.ED arrested me as I stopped BJP from coming to power in 2019, was protective wall of MVA govt: Sanjay Raut.<p>Incidentally, Raut’s party colleague and Rajya Sabha member Priyanka Chaturvedi has been nominated to be a member of one of the delegations.</p><p>“It seems that the international tours undertaken by Modi (over the last 11 years) have not yielded results…thats why there seems to be a need to send delegations to various countries,” said Raut, a journalist-politician and senior Parliamentarian. </p><p>“…(Israel Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu and (Ukraine President) Volodymyr Zelenskyy have not sent delegations to other countries,” Raut pointed out. </p><p>Accusing the BJP of engaging in politics while undertaking the exercise, Raut alleged that they are sending the delegation of MPs of their own choice. </p><p>“There are nine MPs of Shiv Sena (UBT) in the Lok Sabha, but none of them were contacted…there is no letter, there is no communication…They should have taken MPs from all opposition parties like TMC, SP, RJD...What will the MPs do by going abroad? Do they want to internationalise this issue?...They are just doing drama,” he said. </p><p>“This is not right. You want the opposition’s support, but at the same time, you want to split the opposition on this issue,” he said and questioned the need for such delegations. </p><p>The seven delegations have 59 members, including 31 political leaders from the ruling NDA and 20 politicians from other parties. They will be assisted by former diplomats.</p><p>These delegations will be led by BJP MPs Baijayant Jay Panda and Ravi Shankar Prasad, Congress MP and former International diplomat Shashi Tharoor, Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Sanjay Jha, Shiv Sena's Shrikant Shinde, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, and Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader Supriya Sule.</p>
