Poll strategist Prashant Kishor (PK) who has been sidelined by the JD(U) in Bihar, seems to have ruffled some feathers in Andhra Pradesh, too, where he is advising the YSRCP this election.
While Kishor prefers to work behind the scenes, the ruling TDP has decided to bring his “Bihari” background to the fore during the campaign.
“The Bihari man PK is behind the Form 7 scam in Andhra Pradesh. He helped the YSRCP to delete lakhs of voters sympathetic towards the TDP. Not only that, he is behind the data theft in Hyderabad in which micro-level details of lakhs of our cadre were stolen and handed over to the YSRCP,” N Chandrababu Naidu said at a poll campaign meeting in Ongole, Prakasam district.
The chief minister and TDP chief further said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by the state government to look into the data theft from a service provider's office here is the brainchild of the “Bihari babu”.
“The police have found that thousands of applications for deletion of votes were filed online from Bihar. They have fake signatures, also originating from Bihar," he said. “Dear PK you are trying to play with my knowledge of IT, for which I am the leader in the entire country. This is Andhra, not Bihar. We will teach you a big lesson by defeating YSRCP,” Naidu said.
Later, at a public meeting in Guntur, Naidu alleged that Prashant Kishor was behind the pre-planned attack on TDP for the gruesome murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, the paternal uncle of YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Explaining the events from last Friday in Pulivendula, Naidu said that Jagan's family, which was calling it a suicide, had suddenly its trained guns on him upon PK's advice.
He asked the people of Andhra to decide whether they wanted someone like Jagan, who could get his uncle killed for votes and enact the knife attack at the Visakhapatnam airport for sympathy, or vote for the TDP that fights on the issues of development and growth.
