'Rahul Gandhi like a child trying to break toy after failing to get it': Keshav Prasad Maurya

Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday, comparing him to a child who tries to break a toy after failing to get it.

In a post on his social media handle, Maurya said the Congress should accept without hesitation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi represents the hopes and trust of the people and there is no alternative to him.

"The Congress should not hesitate in accepting that the other name for the hopes and trust of the people is the successful Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. There is no alternative to him," Maurya's post read.

Targeting the Congress leader, he alleged that after failing to win the confidence of the people for the past 12 years, Gandhi was trying to push the country towards anarchy through what he termed a "foreign toolkit gang".

The Deputy Chief Minister further wrote, "In fact, Rahul Gandhi's condition today is like that of a child who, after not getting a toy, tries to break it."

Earlier on Monday, BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia called the Congress leader as "foolish, immature, and anarchic," and claimed that "the leader of the opposition is trying to weaken the country."

Highlighting Gandhi's comments on the recent hikes in fuel prices, Bhatia said during a press conference, "Rahul Gandhi, if your motive is to spread anarchy, we are also determined to make India stronger."
