<p>Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), a subsidiary of the Russian defence aircraft major Sukhoi, will be selling 10 Sukhoi Superjet (SSJ) 100 aircraft to an Indian firm.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The company, which is showcasing the aircraft at India Aviation 2012 here, sees a great potential in India and expects to sell 100 Superjet aircraft.<br /><br />Vladimir S. Prisyazhnyuk, president, SCAC told reporters Thursday that a preliminary agreement was signed with India's Aviotech Pvt Ltd last year for sale of 10 aircraft.<br /><br />"India is one of our priority markets. We see a good potential here," he said through an interpreter.<br />During the last eight months, the company delivered eight SSJ 100 to Aeroflot, a Russian airline and one aircraft to Armenia's Armavia. SCAC has an order book of 170 for the medium-haul airliner available in the 75 and 95 seat configuration and can operate on routes of up to 4,500 km.<br /><br />The company will make first delivery to Southeast Asian countries this year. A total of 20 deliveries are scheduled in 2012, 40 next year and 60 in 2014.<br /><br />It was in 2000 that the company embarked on the programme to design civil regional aircraft with the participation of as many as 62 international partners.</p>
