Lucknow: A terrifying video has emerged from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district purportedly showing a man being swept high into the air as he held on to a tin shed during strong storms that struck several parts in the state on Wednesday claiming lives of close to 90 people.

The man, identified as Nanhe Mian, a resident of Bareilly, had clutched a tin shed when the storm struck. The strong winds, however, uprooted the tin shed and was lifted high in the air taking Nanhen Mian with it.

The video showed the man getting separated from the tin shed in the air as the winds pushed him further away. For a moment he floated in the air and then did a somersault as he came down on the ground among a cluster of trees.

Reports said that he fractured his arms and legs and suffered injuries on his back, face and other parts of his body and was admitted to the hospital.

At least six people were killed in Bareilly district in incidents of wall collapse in the storm.
