Indian-origin dentist's body found in suitcase in Aus

A 32-year-old dentist Dr Preethi Reddy with her roots in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana who went missing under mysterious circumstances was found murdered and stuffed in a suitcase in her own car parked in Strachan Lane in Kingsford on Tuesday. Her body bore numerous stab wounds.

The mystery deepened after the main suspect Dr Harshvardhan Nerde also from India found dead in a road accident. New South Wales Police suspect that he might have committed suicide after he killed his ex-girlfriend Dr Preethi Reddy.

While Reddy’s family which settled in Australia years ago complained that Preethi left home to attend a dental conference in St Leonards went missing on Sunday night. Dr Narde died in a fiery car crash on the New England Highway on Monday night some 340 km from where Dr Preethi’s body was found. Police as a routine practice spoke with Nerde before his death.

The police say they have clues that both the deceased met before Preethi went missing. Police also released her snap standing in line at McDonald's in George Street. After she made purchases and walked towards Market Street. Police believe that she stayed at a hotel there along with a man known to her. Her family spoke with her last time at 11 am on Sunday. As she failed to return home her frantic parents reached police.
