Chief Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary Ivan D’Souza has demanded a probe into the audio clip released by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy allegedly of BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa trying to lure Gurmitkal MLA’s son Sharana Gowda with the promise of money and position.

Speaking to media persons, he said that the voice is definitely is of Yeddyurappa. The voice also speaks of booking PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and judge. If they do not believe in the state investigation agencies, let the CBI probe into the audio clip to bring out the truth in it, he said.

D’Souza said the audio clip has proved that Yeddyurappa is engaged in horsetrading to lure Congress and JD(S) MLAs. “From where did the money come for the BJP to purchase MLAs in Karnataka? Whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given black money to the Karnataka BJP?” he asked.

The BJP should stop luring the JD(S) and Congress MLAs. If they fail to do so, then the Congress will stage a protest against the BJP across the state, he warned.

He accused the BJP of interrupting the governor’s joint session address. “Whatever may be the differences of opinion, it is the duty of the MLAs to listen to the governor’s address. By disrupting the address, the BJP has disrespected the democracy and the Constitution. The BJP has been alleging that the coalition government has no majority. Let the BJP move no confidence motion against the government. Why are they silent on it?” he asked.

When the state is reeling under several problems issues, the BJP did not allow the smooth proceedings of the session. “Do they believe in democracy? he questioned. BJP has no morality. The BJP has been claiming that they will not allow to pass the budget. Congress is ready for it. We will ensure that the budget is passed,” he
said.

Referring to the establishment of Christian Development Corporation, Ivan said that the administrative offices of the corporation in the district should be opened within three months.
