‘Khader has not insisted on FIR against SDPI leader’

N S Kareem, Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee minority cell president, has claimed that Urban Development and the District In-charge Minister U T Khader has no role in the FIR filed against SDPI leader Attaullah Jokatte in Ullal.

Addressing reporters in Mangaluru on Thursday, he said that the SDPI had allegedly staged a skit on the demolition on the Babri Masjid, which compelled the police to initiate legal action against the SDPI leader. The allegation by the SDPI saying that minister U T Khader had insisted the police on filing an FIR is far from truth, he insisted.

Kareem said it was not right on the part of the SDPI to use the Babri Masjid demolition issue to stir peace in the Ullal region.
