Bridal wear trends evolve every year, but what about the seasonal changes that you need to keep in mind while planning your trousseau? From outfits, jewellery to makeup, dressing up according to the season is the smart thing to do for every bride.

• Spring: It’s flowery and misty around, a spring bride should have a beachy laid-back vibe with lightly tinted blush, rosy light lips and a bronze eyeshadow. The hair can be tied into a low bun for a more bohemian look. Keep the makeup subtle and let your lehenga speak for itself.
• Summer: Summers are great for glitzy destination weddings. A bright hot pink and tonnes of beautiful greens can turn a dull day into an interesting one. Makeup can be experimental here like brown on the lips and a neutral eyeshadow with no liner and little kajal in the corners will do the trick. The makeup should be as light. Apply a light foundation for glowing rosy cheeks, nude to medium shade of lipsticks and thin liners, preferably in shades of aqua royal blue, grey or brown. You can even give kajal a miss. Highlighters should be in lighter shades. Avoid gold and bronze. Go for simpler hairstyles that can keep sweating at bay.
• Autumn: This is the best time to play with cold colours and vibrant clothing. Your outfits should be the showstopper in cold colours like electric blue, paparazzi greens, smouldering reds and ivory gold. You can apply two shades of kajal under your eyes and 3D eyeshadows on the top to mix it up. Lipstick can be peach topped with a little gloss to make it shinier. Highlighters are important as they can bring your outfits to life with a good bronzing and contouring on the face.
• Winter: Makeup for this time of the year should be bright shiny, as winter is the time for our natural skin to glow. Here you can experiment with darker shades of maroons and a golden palette for your cheeks and lips. Go for elaborate updos or leave your voluminous tresses open and adorn them with fresh flowers. Warm medium to dark smokey eyes with glitter and dark kohled can be chosen along with a lighter shade of lipstick or vice versa. The cheeks can be more peachy and bronzy. Choose whatever colour you want but ensure that not everything is over the top.
