Your eye make-up speaks volumes about your style, and when done right, transforms the eye beautifully. You don’t have to be a make-up pro to achieve the desired look as there are simple ways to do a great job with your eyes. Here are some of the best eye make-up looks you can try.

Mermaid Eyeshadow

What do you need: Aqua blue eyeshadow, golden eyeshadow, coral shimmer eyeshadow, black liquid eyeliner, flat brush, mascara.

How to apply: Start by applying coral shimmer/bronze eyeshadow over your crease and outer corner of the upper eyelid to define. Also, define your lower lashline with coral eyeshadow. With a flat brush, apply the blue eyeshadow on the outer corner of your upper eyelid. Fill the remaining area with some shimmery gold eyeshadow. Blend them out. Line your upper lashline with a black liquid eyeliner. Curl your eyelashes and swipe some mascara on to complete the look.

Simple Kohl-Lined Smokey Eye

What do you need: Metallic grey eyeshadow, black eyeliner pencil, flat brush, mascara.

How to apply: Prime your eyes and apply grey eyeshadow all over your upper eyelid and lower lash line with a flat brush. Using a black eyeliner pencil, gently define your upper and lower lash line creating a subtle wing. Moving to the upper and lower waterline, define them with your kohl or eyeliner pencil. Gently smudge these lines with a brush to create the smokey effect. You can further define your crease area. Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara.

Rose gold eyes

Rose gold is perhaps the most flattering eyeshadow in any palette. This can be worn during the day as well as during the night.

What do you need: A nude eyeshadow for the base, rose gold eyeshadow, soft brown eyeshadow, flat brush, blending brush, deep brown eyeliner pencil,
mascara, eyelash curler.

How to apply: Using a flat brush, cover your eyelid with nude eyeshadow as a base. Fill in your crease with a subtle hint of the soft brown eyeshadow and blend this towards the outer corner of your eye. Use rose gold eyeshadow to fill in the rest of the lid and blend the two out, so they look same. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. Using a deep brown or black eyeliner pencil, tightline your upper waterline. Add a hint of highlighter on the inner corner of your eye and also under the arch of your eyebrow for more definition.

Black and Silver Smokey Eye

What do you need: Black eyeshadow, Silver eyeshadow, Nude eyeshadow, Flat brush, Thin brush, Black eyeliner pencil, Mascara.

How to apply: Use a primer or a concealer on your eyelids to even out the skin tone and increase stay of the make-up. Cover your upper eyelid with silver eyeshadow. Apply a black eyeshadow along the crease of your eye and upper lash line. Use a brush to smudge the black shadow to create a smokey effect. Line your lower waterline using a black eyeliner pencil. Use a silver eyeshadow to highlight the arch of your eyebrow. Apply a black eyeliner on your upper lashline to give definition to the eye. Curl your lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara to complete the look.
