Marriage invite seeks vote for Modi

The 2019 Lok Sabha election fever has not only gripped the politicians but also a couple who will be tying the knot on December 31.

The post of wedding invitation, which has gone viral on social media, the would-be-bridegroom Praveen’s mother Jayanthi from Padavinangady has sought gifts for the newly weds in the form of votes to BJP.

The marriage invitation reads; “Your valuable presence with smiling face is the blessing. In 2019 Lok Sabha election voting to support Modi is the best present.”  The invitation also lists out nearly two dozen major achievements of the Modi government.

Jayanthi refused to respond to calls made by DH. According to family sources, Jayanthi and her son Praveen are a big fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They decided to print the marriage invitation card in an unique style by appealing invitees to vote for Modi as a marriage gift to the bride and groom. 

“The family is keen that BJP should emerge victorious and Modi should be made as prime minister again,” family sources added.
