JOIN USKesariya’, the Shekhawat restaurant is hosting an authentic Rajasthani puppet show as a part of their ‘Deepavali’ celebrations till November 15015 at their outlet in JP Nagar. The festivities will take place at the outlet from 12 pm to 3.30 pm during lunch and 7 pm to 11 pm during dinner.
‘Kathputli’ as it is popularly called is a traditional art form from Rajasthan that is performed during festivals and social gatherings. The puppet show at ‘Kesariya’ will be anchored by ‘Shekhawati Katputliwala’ who hail from the desert state of Rajasthan.
The performance will have a lighthearted story narration along with puppet dance performances on popular Rajasthani folk songs.
Traditional Rajasthani folklore about kings, dynasties, love and romance will be weaved together to create a memorable show for the audience. The bright colourful attire of the puppets, the vibrant stage setup and the upbeat music will leave you spellbound.
