It's Goa for Yash

Rocky fame Yash is of the opinion that every New Year brings in him a kind of positive energy. On this occasion, he is in a mood for retrospection and he commits himself to work better for the rest of the year. This time the actor has been planning to head to Goa for New Year celebrations provided he gets an off from the shooting schedule.

“As of now, I am not sure about my New Year plans. I would like to enjoy the occasion at Goa. I am looking forward to enjoying this eve along with my old friends. But it all depends on my shooting schedule,” says Yash.

New Year has a special significance for the actor. Surprisingly all his family members celebrate their birthdays in January including Yash. “The New Year’s celebrations will be followed by my birthday which is in the second week of January. Then we celebrate my father’s, sister’s and mother’s birthdays all in the same month. For me, New Year’s festivity lasts for the whole month,” Yash beams.

When asked about his favourite place in Bangalore to celebrate New Year he quickly says, “Ask me about Mysore.” Hailing from Mysore, the actor has many memorable events associated with the City. “I have celebrated most of my New Years in Mysore. I used to team up with my friends and then roam around the City in the night. Meeting up with many other different friends and wishing them was something which we would never miss. Riding all the way upto the top of  Chamundi Hills just to watch the fireworks in the City was another favourite event amongst us. These fireworks would look amazing from the top of the hills. I have been missing all those perky days,”  he adds.

Yash had made many New Year resolutions in the past and most of them are sincerely met. “There is no meaning in making new resolutions when we have failed to keep the previous resolutions,” he says.

He comes down heavily on eve teasers and says he does not encourage people who have fun at the cost of other’s happiness. “Nowadays, people have been engaging in irresponsible activities. They are crossing their limits and causing problem to others.
There is nothing bad in enjoying the occasion but at the same time others’ freedom should also be respected,” he signs off.
