Dominic's original music concert on November 30

Dominic D’Cruz has been playing music professionally since 1992. He is a self-taught guitarist and singer who has played for numerous bands like ‘Butterfingers’ and ‘Blue Rondo’.He is currently working on his first concert that would features his original music.He writes Christian music as he finds it to be the best medium to put down his thoughts and reflections. “My music is not preachy. I try to relate the instancesof spirituality I see around me,” says Dominic, “I also try to write songs that tell Bible stories.”He put his first original song in 2001, but has never found the right time, place and people to perform. “After many attempts, I got lucky enough with the right mix this time,” he says. Eighteen years later, he is performing it with friends. They have been working for over four months fot the concert, ‘Feel His Presence’. The concert will be held in aid of Swanthana, an orphanage for girls. “I always knew I wanted to do the concert in aid of a cause and not just as a showcase for my music,” he shares.“I had visited the facility some time back After hearing the stories of how such young children were abandoned without care, I knew I wanted to do something for them,” he adds.The concert, ‘Feel His Presence’, will be held on November 30, at 5.15pm and 7.30pm, in OO Heaven, Kalyan Nagar.For tickets, contact 87222 21976
