Metro people: HR professional's trust for job training

Last Updated 30 April 2019, 13:37 IST

Bengaluru-based M V Narasimhan having worked in the HR industry for 30 years is now helping HR freshers understand their job better.

With his trust ‘National Human Resource Welfare Association’ (NHRWA), started in February 2019, he and his team conduct various seminars and job opportunity workshops in government schools and colleges across Karnataka.

The trust recently organised an ‘All India HR and Trainers Conference’ and invited HR professionals from various parts of the world like Vietnam, Malaysia and more.

“My main motive is to help eligible students find a job. All they lack is proper training, guidance and encouragement, and we help them realise their potential,” says Narasimhan, talking to Metrolife.

Noting that most of the recruiting companies and the training centres are in the city, he says that the youngsters in the villages mostly lose interest or are stopped by their parents from relocating.

“We are trying to take the training centres to them. We apply their theoretical knowledge practically,” he adds.

Apart from running the trust, Narasimhan is also the admin of 203 Whatsapp groups wholly and solely meant for job opportunities.

“Out of passion, I created WhatsApp groups three years ago. The numbers have increased over the years. With separate groups for media, HR and many other software
and technical jobs, I post job openings in these
different WhatsApp groups.”
