They say that the perfect way to a man's heart is through the stomach, but we say, food is the way to anyone's heart. Here are a few recipes that can help you woo your loved one.

Chocolate and peanut butter bars

The usual boring chocolate bars get an irresistible makeover with crunchy nuts. Be sure to start this recipe a day ahead as it will require overnight chilling. These do not require baking and only need five simple ingredients.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted, melted butter

1 cup creamy peanut butter

2 cups powdered sugar

2 cups nuts or biscuits

Method

Start by making the peanut butter layer. This layer is a simple mixture of melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and any types of nuts or biscuit crumbs you prefer.

Whisk the melted butter and peanut butter together first, and then whisk in the powdered sugar and crumbs and nuts. The mixture may appear to be a little soft, but it will firm up and become easily sliceable once refrigerated.

After mixing thoroughly, press into a rectangular tin and make the chocolate topping. The chocolate topping is simply molten chocolate ganache mixed with peanut butter.

Pour the topping over the peanut butter layer and spread it around evenly.

After setting up the cake, cover the tin and let them chill in the freezer for at least two hours. These bars are so light and scrumptious, you are in for a real treat.
