Chikkaballapur MP and former Union minister M Veerappa Moily welcomed the Indian airstrike in Pakistani territory, destroying terrorist camps.

He said that Pakistan is in despair and India should be highly cautious and alert.

He was speaking to reporters on the sideline of a programme in the city on Tuesday.

“India should be well-prepared by keeping our armed forces alert. I am hopeful that the concerned have taken all the precautionary measures to face the opponents. After the airstrike, Pakistan is in frustration. The intelligence system of the country should work further. By neglecting the intelligence input, India had to lose 49 CRPF personnel at Pulwama. We have to ensure that such an incident does not recur,” he reminded.
