NAAC ‘A’ Grade for Besant institute

Manel Srinivas Nayak Memorial (MSNM) Besant Institute of PG Studies has been awarded ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in the recently conducted assessment for re-accreditation.

Addressing reporters in Mangaluru, Institute secretary Devananda Pai said that the Institute had excelled in the seven quality criteria – covering aspects like curriculum, teaching learning and evaluation, research, consultancy and extension, infrastructure and learning resources, student support and progression, governance, leadership and management and innovation and best practices.

Green campus

He further said that the MSNM campus is equipped with a 3.6-acre green campus at Bondel, with state-of-the-art facilities. The institute also has achieved 100% result along with university ranks. The alumni of the institute have got placements in top companies.

Institute director Dr Narayan Kayarkatte, coordinator Dr Robin Shindhe and Corporation Bank former general manager Raghava Kamath were present at the press meet.
