Last Updated 14 December 2018, 19:20 IST

To scale up preparations for the Assembly election, BJP national president Amit Shah will visit Jaipur on July 21 to review the state BJP’s work.

He will address the BJP state working committee’s meeting at Totuka Bhawan located near Narayan Singh Circle on July 21.

Moreover, Shah will also attend wedding function of union rural development and panchayati raj minister Narendra Pal Tomar’s son.

Last year Shah had come to Jaipur on July 21-23 and had met the party office bearers, public representatives and representatives of various social and religious organisations.

However, this time his visit becomes important after the BJP had to face defeats in the by-elections held for two Lok Sabha and one Assembly seats in February 2018.

Visit of Shah on July 21 holds a lot of significance as he will review the activities of the organisation undertaken since his last year's visit.

The meeting of the working committee will include all the BJP MLAs, MPs, Ministers, district presidents, members of other frontal organisations including BJYUM, Mahila Morcha, ST Morcha, SC Morcha, state office bearers and other special invitees.

After the meeting of the working committee, Shah will address the Social Media Volunteers’ Workshop. This workshop will be held at Raj Mandir Theater.
