Amit Shah slams AP CM during roadshow

BJP national President Amit Shah described the ensuing elections as a fight between a formidable leader Narendra Modi and a faceless opposition.

Addressing an election rally at Narasaraopet of Guntur district, Amit Shah said that the NDA has shut down the doors for Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu forever knowing that he will try to return after the elections.

"Modi has worked hard for the nation and is fighting cross border terrorism. His government fulfilled 11 out 14 assurances given to Andhra Pradesh (AP) by the reorganisation Act," Shah said.

He said that 20 national institutions were set up in AP despite non co-operation from Naidu's government. "I want to know what Naidu has done for the state other than promoting his son Lokesh," he asked.

Terming Naidu as an opportunist Shah said Naidu left Congress, joined TDP and then backstabbed NTR. He joined NDA, quit and rejoined NDA to benefit from Modi wave in 2014, he pointed.

Shah urged voters to elect state BJP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana from the Narasaraopet Loksabha constituency.
